untitled antarctica
My itp thesis building on past work with Acoustic Imaging. This project goes beneath the ice and explores the terrain of the southern-most seas. Of the explored, researched and mediated bottom-south, untitled antarctica presents video and sound based on this data along with an exploration of the spectacle and mythic in form.

crabSense
Hermit Crabs living in a vivarium, not unlike a terrarium, with a data logging sensor box. The resulting data and other events surrounding this living system inform a data experience using augmented reality in jitter/max/msp.

time machine with an inner landscape
An audio visual piece exploring deep and disparate time
scales, spatial perceptions, and the historization of ‘inorganic’
systems—micro images of minerals and crystals are projected
in temporal play which unfolds in a combination of
slide projectors and analog sound production techniques.
The work will be spatial, performative and material.

blackice
An interactive audio/visual piece made in jitter/Max.
The sound informs a growing algorithm composed of
line, 3D animation and smoke video. The oppressively
hot summer of 2010 crystallizes into a surreal video-scape.
